# Clinical Significance of HBA1C :
the gold standard for assessing long-term diabetes screening, HBA1C >7% as an important judgment criterion for initiating clinical treatment or the need to adjust the treatment plan for type 2 diabetes
Type 2 diabetes : in the early stage of treatment, it is recommended to test once every 3 months, and after the blood glucose control reaches the standard, it can be checked once every 6 months.
Type 1 diabetes : on the basic of avoiding hypoglycemia, HBA1C < 7,5% in children and adolescents ; HBA1C < 7.0% in adulthood should be achieved.

- ACCURACY
Sinocare portable hemoglobin analyzer (PCH-50) was compared with fully automatic hemoglobin analyzer (HPLC method) produced by an internasional famous brand.
The results showed that accuracy of sinocare PCH-50 was highly consistent with the HPLC method and the precision of the test results was excellent. (300 clinical samples, including 200 cases of venous blood and 100 cased of fingertip blood).
